Curious and friendly as can be

Trying out new languages wherever

She's with newly found birds of a feather.

She'll drive most anywhere so she can play

With good musicians any night or day

Zip down to Maryland, or any place

She can join a thrilling sailboat race.

Linda can whip up a gourmet meal

So healthy it can nourish, even heal.

Treats her body with such loving care,

Further amplified with faith and prayer.

Now her special day has come around

But alas! Her health has run aground

And landed her right here in rehab care

For bone and chest and leg and hip repair!

But her undaunted spirit will not fade

Life's not halted, just a bit delayed.
